Richard Labonte - Editor At Large
Richard Labonte, after 20 years working at the original version of A Different Light Bookstores in San Francisco, West Hollywood and New York, now lives on a 200-acre farm in rural Ontario and divides his time among reading, weeding and writing book reviews for PlanetOut, Lambda Book Report, and Publishers Weekly, and, coming this fall, for his own syndicated book review column and a forthcoming web site. He also works as a freelance copy editor, as a consultant to writers and publishers, and as a contributing editor for Harrington Park Press. He has edited the Best Gay Erotica series for Cleis Press since 1997, and has probably read more than 3,000 submissions, of which about 125 have been selected for publication over the years.
